Natural Burial Pricing
Can be secured for pre-arrangement or at the time of need:
Burial Plot/Interment Rights - $1800 + tax (payment plans available upon request)
What this includes:
Paid for at the time of need:
Opening and Closing of the Burial Site - $850 + tax
What this includes:
Burial Plot/Interment Rights - $1800 + tax (payment plans available upon request)
What this includes:
- Rights of interment in a 5x10 burial plot at La Puerta Natural Burial Ground
- 25% goes to a reserve for maintenance and conservation of the property
Paid for at the time of need:
Opening and Closing of the Burial Site - $850 + tax

- Opening and closing of the burial site
- Use of the final ride cart for procession to grave site
- Use of pole barn and gazebo for services
- Mapping burial site with GPS coordinates
- Grave registration with Find a Grave

Urn Burial Plot/Interment Rights - $1000 + tax (payment plans available upon request)
What this includes:
- Rights of interment in a 5x5 burial plot at La Puerta Natural Burial Ground
- 25% goes to a reserve for maintenance and conservation of the property

- Soil amendment (for neutralizing alkalinity of cremains)
- Use of pole barn and gazebo for services
- Mapping burial site with GPS coordinates
- Grave registration with Find a Grave
Other Burial Fees
Weekend/Holiday Burial Fee - $350 + tax
- We do not perform burials on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or Christmas
- For cremains that will be included in the grave with someone else at the time of burial
- This is an administrative fee for preparing documentation of the additional interred cremains
Infants and Children
Infants and children 15 years and under are buried at no charge with the exception of the burial container cost if purchased through us.
Biodegradable Containers
Purchase of a biodegradable container with Natural Burial New Mexico includes delivery to the funeral home or customer within Bernalillo or Valencia Counties. Additional shipping or delivery costs may be applied for deliveries outside of those areas.

- Pets 20-59 lbs $350 + tax.
- Pets 60-150lbs $450 + tax.
- Pets over 150lbs inquire via email; includes opening and closing of grave.
